a current Topic was posted.... Keep Lyme Confidential From Other Doctors?
Has your llmd asked you to keep their name or treatment confidential??

No. None of the ones I have seen for myself or my daughter have asked for that. I think most of them would even be willing to talk to our local doctors.
I still don't give out their name or even mention Lyme, if I can help it.

In the current era of harrassment for lyme doctors, I think this is a good idea, even if patients are not directly asked to do it.

In my case not at all. To do so would compromise my health.
My LLMD and Neurosurgeon speak to each other and coordinate treatment on a regular basis.
As a matter of fact my Neurosurgeon was the one to recommend one more course of abx tx from my LLMD before we considered surgery.
I needed my LLMD to be part of my tx during and after my neurosurgery.
It is possible to have something unrelated to lyme but yet can be effected by lyme and vice versa.

Sounds shady. I would never accept treatment from a doctor who didn't want me to share his findings and treatments.
My LLMD sends detailed documents of his opinions to my regular dr.
