ugh, that metallic taste is awful and the stomach pain.

what can you do to stop that awful taste?

im new to taking biaxin but I find if i take it on a totally full stomach, it doesnt bother me.

If you switch to extended release Biaxin and take it with food you may find that it is a huge help. I have been able to tolerate it very well since switching.

If you take it with watered down, 100% cranberry juice you won't get the taste.

Obviously only a small amount though to prevent yeast.

You said you weren't going to take it EVER AGAIN.

PS.. Someone said several yrs ago that they ate potato chips to get rid of the taste. Not good if you have yeast though.

I just drank a lot of water. Anytime the taste got bad, (all the time) I drank more water.
