You might not get a lot of replies today.. it's a holiday in the US.

My son has done antiparasite series-- 3 days Alinia, 3 days off, 3 days another antiparasite, 3 days off, etc.

He's done this three times. I don't have the records with me now, but albendazole and mebendazale were definitely in the series.

He took them both with oral abx, and twice he took them with IV's (invanz and vancomycin I think.)

He's pulsing alinia now 3 times a week while he's on biaxin.

He did have a rash/reaction in his treatment once-- but I really thihk it was Lariam that caused it.. not the alinia.

In general, though, no probs with the anti-parasite/abx combos.
