Have much anxiety and ocd that can convince me of anything and everything. How do you make feelings pass when they're so strong and interrupt sleep so you don't feel like you at all everyday (with the depersonalization). Taking supplements and doing herbs for treatment. Usually strong opinioned, stable, relapse with stress and am like nothing. Anyone similar, please opinions. Thanks.

That's hard.

I do suffer from the same anxieties and it definitely gets tiring. Sometimes when I get overwhelmed I literally have to just sit and cry and keep to myself. Other times I feel comfortable talking about it to someone close, venting. Find what coping method works best for you and keep exploring and opening yourself up to new ways of viewing things! Don't beat yourself up over your anxieties and feelings, I know that's easier said than done.

I've had help with homeopathics. but, my hp doc wants me off abx, my lyme doc wants me on them. They make me feel I dont know whats best sometimes. It's hard to remember that WE usually know whats best if we can really listen to ourselves. It's hard, all the way around the board it's hard.

I'm in the same situation. My doc wants antibiotics, which I have been mentally scarred for life by. Doing herbs, had no choice but to try something else. . Wishing us both good luck. Feel good.

I take xanax, sometimes daily. It gets me through the rough patches, which have sometimes made me feel like I should commit myself. Xanax a better and easier solution.

How long were you on abx before you decided to quit?

I take klonpin twice a day and that has seemed to help with some of the anxiety.

But I notice like in the middle of the night if I hear a noise...it could be a simple small noise like the house creaking I'm wide awake and having fears someone is breaking in. i need an alarm system, lol.

I hope it gets better for you.

Hi! This is my first time posting on LymeNet and I am so relieved that I am no longer the only one dealing with these symptoms. I can totally relate that when reality hits me of what is going on in my body I get really overwhelmed and feel like there is no end in sight.

Does anybody out there who got a clinical diagnosis or was short a few bands in their Western Blot ever feel doubtful and really anxious? I have been to 15 doctors over the past year, had three different brain and spinal MRIs that all came back fine, and have been tested for every autoimmune disease out there.

Back in 2008, I was feeling really really fatigued and demanded that they test me for Lyme. Little did I know, I had tested positive for two bands (58 and 23) but I never saw the report and they said I did not have it. So I continued on with my life and every year I kept experiencing one weird symptom after another (stomach, bladder, depression and anxiety). Finally, in 2009, my 20/20 vision suddenly became strange--blurry, foggy, floaters, and decreased night vision. I was also getting strange itching all over my body and a stiff neck. I got right on this and went to my GP and was told I had a sinus infection!! I mean, how stupid can you be! The medication and nasal spray did nothing and I knew that I must move on!

Well, this same process continued each doctor I went visited. I was basically told I had anxiety and depression and to go to a shrink!! Come on! So finally after almost a year, I switched my GP and my new one tested me for Babesia, which the titer showed that I had it. From there I saw an LLMD and he made a clinical diagnosis of Lyme. I know I have a long road ahead of me and I need reassurance sometimes that this will go away.

As a result of all this, I am so fearful of doing anything or going anywhere!! I am so anxious when driving and walking around, which intensifies my dizziness and haziness even more! Does anyone with Lyme or Babesia ever experience this?

Thanks!
Kalynn

Thanks momlyme!

I can't tell you how good it feels to have found a place where people can relate with each other. It really gives me a sense of relief and peace of mind!
