DS, 11, has been diagnosed with RMSF, Babesia, Lyme, Bartonella, H. Pylori, Epstein Barr virus and Mycoplasma. He has been on Bicillin for 6 weeks, Zith for 6 weeks and just started Doxy 8 days ago. He also just started taking Mastica and Monolaurin. He is starting to get a rash on inner upper arms and his back. He never had the rash for RMSF. Is this a herx? Is it the RMSF coming out?? When he was on Flagyl, he had rashes that he had never had before, so maybe that's how his body gets rid of this????? Any advice??

Doxy is the treatment of choice for RMSF. My guess is that the doxy is working on the infection -- but this is just an educated guess.
I would take pictures and also be sure to call your LLMD and describe the rash. Watch for fever or itching or other signs of an allergic reaction.
