i recently had a tooth infection, i had no insurance so i went to the ER. i was talking to the dr and told him about my lyme disease, he asked if i ever tried cleocin, i hadnt so thats what he described for the infection.

i went home and took the meds and i tell you i thought i was dead, i thought for sure i was allergic and i was so bad i couldnt even call the ER, i figured this is it, i'm dieing.

my head felt like it was going to explode, my arms wouldnt work right, couldnt move and i passed out. when i awoke about an hour later i couldnt believe it, i felt normal again, my vision wasnt blurred, i could think clearly, nothing hurt. whatever is in me did not like the cleocin.

i went for it and took the rest of the meds and i havent felt this good in 2 yrs, i could actually remember things, i didnt ache from head to toe my mind was clear. but as always good things have to come to an end and the meds ran out, i talked to the DR but he wouldnt give me anymore, oh well back to normal.

the only problem i noticed from taking the cleocin is my tongue hurts and is red and looks like it was sliced with a razor, anyone know that might be? anyone know where to get cleocin?

We have another thread going on clindamycin - three of us with CA Lyme exposure have done well with it - wonder if this med is strain-dependent.
