I'm on Rocephin IV therapy for Lymes. After some suggesting I may have a co-infection I'm going to ask my doctor to run the tests for the other related infections as well. Will the test results actually result in anything if I am already on rocephin and could Rosephin treat the co-infection too ???

Rocephin won't help any co-infections. I second what Robin said - read the guidelines. They explain it all.

Thank you. I spent 4 hrs last nights googling the different co-infections and the treatments and ended up with a huge head ache and no "real answers" The terminology you gave me helped alot.. So thanks again. I'm going to get tested today. My doc put in the order for the lab. Hopefully I wont have to read anything more about any of it when I get the results. Keeping my fingers crossed.
