I've been having a lot of soreness in my inner wrists. Can lyme cause this (carpel tunnel)? what do i do about it?

Yes, many lyme patients have carpal tunnel issues. It may be caused by lyme, or it may be a B vitamin deficiency which may or may not be a result of the lyme.

Yes lyme can cause severe carpal tunnel pain. I had it and had the surgery done. The relief is remarkable. Curing lyme may cure carpal tunnel but I elected not to wait. Yes I would do it again. Recovery from surgery took about 3 weeks for me. Recovery from lyme is now going on 3 years. However thanks to all the help I have received here I am about 8 to 10 times better than I was 1 year ago.

I have it too. It was just in my right wrist, but now my left is hurting as well. My wrists really just hurt when I use the computer.

I had symptoms of carpal tunnel and I wore a wrist brace and it really helped.

I have this problem too. In recent months I've started wearing a wrist brace in the evenings and when I sleep. It keeps me from over straining and seems to really help. You can find them at your local drug store.
