My doc seems to think that you shouldn't take the two together but I haven't read any research that confirms this claim. In fact, a lot of people online seem to be taking mepron, zithro, bicillin (all I am taking) along with Tindamax for Babs and Lyme. I certainly won't move forward with the protocol without confronting her but want to make sure I have facts to back up my claims.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter started 4 months of Mepron and Zithromax (twice a day). In month 5 she started Tindamax (once a day, two days in a row, then 5 off).
My wife takes care of this so I don't know the details of the food before taking the drugs, nor the probiotic schedule.
We are now completing month 8. The tindamax goes after the cyst form of lyme.

I think you can pulse flagyl or tindamax while on Mepron.
That is one of the protocols I have read about for treating all three infections, Bb, bart and babs.
It is Mepron, zithromax, Bactrim DS with pusled flagyl or tindamax.
I thought about adding it to what I am doing even though the LLMD did not prescribe it (I have leftovers). I suspect he does not want my liver to act up from the Mepron which is hard to tolerate.
