I have pains in my head and feels like my brain is swollen. Tylenol every day. I'm on herbal teas and 5 days a week I do drops. I'm working with a naturalist, plants/herbs. The teas days, I'm depersonalized, but not pain like this. The drops penetrate the brain, but I still don't feel like myself. I'm doing more like me, but I'm not making the connection. Any head relief? OCD makes me believe everything, so its tough to just close your eyes and sleep, also its my time of the month. I guess herbs are just as powerful as antibiotics, almost felt like I did on flagyl. Anyone feel like a swollen brain? Relief?

Tylenol will not do much for swelling, also it is metabolized in the liver. Many lyme patients have excessive liver toxicity. My own son had blocked bile ducts in the liver. Advil, or a generic, would do more as an antiinflammatory.

For quite a long time, I thought my brain was swollen and it felt like my skull was just too small for my brain.
Until my LLMD did this: poked around the back of my skull with a knuckle, found a bump, and pressed hard on it. Amazingly, the top of my skull no longer hurt, but the spot she jammed the knuckle with hurt like heck.
The bump was a muscle spazm, caused by magnesium deficiency. The pain I felt across my skull (and sometimes face, ear, through my jaw) was referred pain from the spazm.
Could this be you? Poke around a bit and see if you can find a knot or a spot that you may not have realized even hurt.

Get evaluated for seizures. I have SEVERE OCD, coupled with the swollen brain symptom, and even though all tests come back normal, I suffered 2 seizures on Dec. 19th...witnessed by paramedics and a neighbor...

Areas of my scalp, especially around my right ear and eye are swollen and I get headaches. This has been relieved by taking my homemade liposomal vitamin C as written about at pdazzler. After taking the stuff, my external head heats up and the headaches go away or are relieved.
Good luck,
Sheryl

Sheryl777- Would you post a link, please? I would be interested in reading about that. I did a search on pdazzler.com - too many results for me to read through.
