Just wondering if this makes sense to anyone. Right now my biggest symptoms are air hunger and internal tremors. The air hunger seems to be hanging around pretty consistently. The tremors have never completely gone away, but they seem to die down one night and I feel better, then the next night they are horrible again. So, I have been consistently feeling better and then worse every 24 hours.

I am being treated with IV Rocephin, and my LLMD is now wondering about Babesia. I am familiar with the herxing cycles, but I don't remember hearing about any 24 hour type cycles.

Thanks!

Well, I am going to say that this sounds like a 48 hour cycle to me. If you got sick every night, that would be 24 hours. Every other night is 48 hours.

Babesiosis is known to cycle rapidly. Burrascano says every 4 to 6 days. My doc said every 7 days, and I definitely experienced a 7 day cycle.

So, I am wondering if you take the same meds every day or if you take them MWF? That may have something to do with the every other night tremors.

Same with your supplements. Do you take the same ones every day?

Air hunger is the classic symptom of babesiosis.
