Today I got extremely angry at a little thing.
I started throwing things, screaming, yelling, crying, hyperventilating. My eyes were burning.
And whenever someone would talk I'd just snap. After that, I had shortens of breath (because I yelled too much maybe?). Then the urge to urinate. Then pain!!! My head hurts so bad, and my bones.

What the heck just happened? Did all my symptoms increase because i got so angry?

My doctor doesn't believe I have any of the co infections. I am on lyme treatment.

It's not uncommon. It's called Lyme rage. You could also be having an extreme herx causing the rage.

If your doctor does not believe in co-infections you need to find a new doctor ASAP that is a member of ILADS and uses Dr. B's guidelines. If you have untreated co-infections and most of us do, that could certainly contribute to Lyme rage.

You may want to place a post in "seeking a doctor" to find a proper LLMD.

Or bart rage. Lyme never personally gave me rage at any point in my four years of having it, but bartonella sure did. Especially after I started treatment for Lyme (doxy), which sort of woke it up. You're not crazy at all.

Ooh that's not what I meant. My doctor does believe in co infections, she just doesn't think I have any of them. I tested negative for all the co infections and she said my symptoms don't completely fit them.

Is bart treated with antibiotics?

It is. No one really knows what coinfections they have until they start treating Lyme. It narrows things down and then new symptoms emerge....like this one. Inform your LLMD about your new developments, and as for your rage, see if it repeats every five or six days for "some reason" becuase bart has a tendency to do that.

I am having trouble controlling my emotions as well. I also wonder sometimes if I am not nuts as I get so angry. I am just not myself at all. Short fused and bothered over just about everything.

I am treating babesia. I always thought bartonella was the infection most responsible for extreme irritation and rage but some people say babesia also causes it (and I guess lyme does to).

I believe it is a herx causing this and probably that is what is causing your to "flare" as well. Hang in there.
