I'm experiencing nausea with a generic form of Biaxin. This surprises me because I used to take Biaxin with no problems in past years. I'm wondering if it might be the generic I'm reacting to. The mfr is Teva USA. Would I do better on the original Biaxin? Or am I going to have to change antibiotic?
thanks

I had biaxin and couldn't handle it. I had this unreal nausea it was very very overwhelming. Had to switch drugs, worst nausea and anxiety I've had on any drug

i had to stop generic biaxin because of nausea too.

I'm not 100% sure that was the drug that cause it because i was on a few others.

I had a problem with Teva too, there are other mfrs (Sandoz, Watson, etc)..switched to Sandoz and haven't had a problem. Usually the big pharms purchase the cheapest generics. Smaller pharms usually have better quality generics.

I had issues with the TEVA generic, too, and have since asked my pharmacist to order me another brand. He did so without hesitation and so far, so good.

Maybe TEVA uses really nasty fillers?
