There isn't a part of my body that doesn't hurt, my hands, my toes, the sole of my feet, my abs, etc... even my fingertips. The pain has been creeping up for the last few days and is getting worse. I have been taking Zithromax and Malarone for three months now to treat Babesia and my last test showed improvement for the babesia but a worsening of the Lyme results. I am not sure if the pain is due to the lyme acting up or fibromyalgia? Anybody has a suggestion? I am supposed to travel tomorrow and I am not sure how I am going to do it. Thank you,

Dear Deep,
So sorry you've got so much full-body pain... CLD is horrid.

Good news that you've improved from babesiosis! Have hope!

The illustrious ILADS-active LLMD, Dr S of Va, teaches that fibromyalgia comes from the sleep deficit brought on by untreated neuroborreliosis.

Maybe you can postpone your travel? Sounds like you need more rest. Please be gentle with yourself.

I find quick and lasting relief from fibromyalgia pain by taking Curamin capsules by Terry Naturally, 1 cap 3x/day as directed on the bottle. I start hurting again if I miss two doses...

You may already be familiar with the soothing relief of an epsom salt bath. My LLRN suggests 2 cups of epsom salts in a warm bath tub, soak for 15 minutes max. Follow with a cool rinse. Can you manage that today?

Maybe you can increase you magnesium dosing?

Try bromelain on an empty stomach to relieve pain. (Taken with food, it aids digestion.)

If you have a hot water bottle, snuggle up with that under your favorite warm blankie...

Wishing you comfort and peace,
Smile

As soon as I get up, I am going to get Epson Salts and I will check on Curamin. Thank you, Remember to Smile, for your very helpful suggestions.

Alternatively, you could try Zyflamend. It's made by New Chapter - addresses inflammation, which is the typical type of pain we suffer anf typically flares during active treatment.

Many stores seem to be carrying it nowadays - Vitamin Shoppe stocks it in their stores and also online.

Flexeril at bedtime also may give you relief, as well as sleeping on an air mattress, rather than a spring bed which causes pressure points.
