I am considering Bicillin shots -- so many folks have had good success and I think it crosses the blood brain barrier better than orals. It's also pretty safe. I've seen a good many posts about process and pain. But I'm most concerned about scarring since it's like injecting a golf ball into the muscle. If you've had Bicillin injections, did you find that they caused permanent tissue scarring?

Yes, sorry, for some reason (probably user error) that posted twice yesterday. I've read a few older posts about folks getting bumps and tumors from the shots (one member who needed surgery to remove it). Very concerning.

I have been getting 3 a week since July 2010 and have not had any issues or scarring so far.

I was doing 3/ week for 4 months and I was fine. You want to stay on target when injecting. I did have some bumps and bruises, but they were temporary. The shot has to be done very slowly. It isn't pleasant, but it was VERY effective for me.
