I just realized, my "air hunger" isn't exactly air hunger. What it is is rapid breathing. When my babesia symptoms (or whatever infection it is) come into play, I wouldn't necessarily say I feel like I'm *not getting enough air.* Instead, I feel like I am doing moderate exercise and my breathing increases to what it would be if, say, I was walking fast on a treadmill.

Is this "air hunger" or something else?

It was my version of air hunger too. I could get out of breath just walking across the room or having a conversation. It resolved w/ Babesia treatment.

yep...me too and wheezing and chest pressure...you name it...if it is lung related, I've got it. Fighting babs and it's getting better but Ican't seem to stop meds without it coming back. I swear it is what is going to eventually kill me, it gets so bad.

I've been going crazy too with the breathing and heart palpatations. I was becoming so nervous because just doing small activities like making my bed or walking up the stairs would trigger
a rapid heartbeat and labored breathing--like I just ran a marathon !

I know some was probably anxiety, but I do have Babesia and Bartonella, so I know they must be the culprit. I even went as far as having an EKG (which came out fine) and had to wear this annoying heart monitor with wires all over my body for 24 hours. Everything was fine!

I share the same symptoms. Even to the extent of Potts. Could not

get out of bed, fainting like symptoms. Any thing to do with the

heart and lungs being out of wack, I've been there. I'm Mepron,

zith and tarted pulsing with Art. I feel hopeless at times, because of the ups and downs.

Im still on meds and afraid to get off them. I think as I am

being treaded, I may also add a double dose of prayer !
