Hi All,
My new llmd has prescribed the following. Prior to this I was on ceftin and doxy. I continue to have neurological issues (left side weakness, crying easily).

She suspects Bart also due to the way my neurological issues are out of proportion with any other symptoms. (also have sore soles)

Minocycline 100 mg 1x day
Cat's claw powder 1/2 tsp 4x day
Knotweed 1/4 tsp 4x day

Will be adding
Biaxin this week 500 mg 2x per day Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs every other week

In two weeks I will start pulsing
Flagyl with the Biaxin every other week
1000 mg 3 times per day on mon/wed/fri

Seems aggressive which I am all for just scared of those weeks of the flagyl along with everything else. Anyone have success with these?

Well I have alot/mostly Neuro issues and I recently began pulsing Biaxin with Doxy.

I have been on Doxy alone and Biaxin alone - get feeling good but when I stop either one symptoms come back within a few weeks.

My protocol is;

300mg.s Doxy daily (up to 400 if tolerable)
1,000 mg.'s Biaxin on Friday/Sat./Sun. - every week
ART
Andrographis
Nystatin and pther anti-yeast supp.'s

First day pusling the Biaxin I had a BIG Neuro. herx and lasted for a couple of days. Is getting better and easier as I continue.

I am not on Flagyl. My LLMD feels the pusling of Biaxin will help break any cyst that I may have -sort of trick em out and them hit em. Who knows.

I hope you have good results with your tx!

Thanks for sharing! I was on Doxy with Ceftin and was doing ok but the left side weakness didn't completely resolve.

Although when I stopped the doxy it came back worse so apparently it was doing more than I thought.

I have a virus at the moment that my children shared with me so its hard to tell what is making me feel bad at the moment [Smile]

I was on Ceftin (pulsed with Zythro) years ago but was allergic to it.

Sometimes it is hard to tell what is what when you get hit with something else.

I would love to hear how this regimine works for you.. Take Care.

I've been on several months straight of biaxin (500mg 2x/day) and tindimax(related to flagyl 250mg 2/day) and my neuro issues have steadily imporved. Not completely gone but better than they've been in a long while.

Not sure if flagyl will yield a similar result. I've been told tindamax is more effective with fewer side effects. Might want to explore that.

Thanks all! I am hopeful and will keep you updated. So far, so good with the Biaxin this week.

Will pulse the Flagyl in 2 weeks.
