I'm looking into this for a friend. I've always know Magnesium (and calcium). Any other suggestions? also, any specific brands?
Thanks, Tammy

- Hawthorn, CoQ10, some of the medical mushrooms.
Get the heart books by Stephen Sinatra, MD.
Your friend can also explore options with some of the article and book links, near the end of this thread. Your friend may also consider finding a ND or someone with similar training and experience. It's best to have a doctor who knows ALL about the thousands of supplements in the world - and also how to choose the best path for each person. What works for one person may not be the right thing for everyone.
Also, see the CARDIAC thread link - some good heart detail there for anyone.

Metagenics Vasotensin works really well.
Also, Solgar Garlic/Parsley caps and Douglass Magnesium/potassium aspartate.
Google "celery and blood pressure". It's used in Chinese medicine to reduce blood pressure and it works. Eat three stalks a day.
All of the above used together will should show great improvement.

" Hibiscus tea is supposed to help. Also, cayenne pepper. "
Hibiscus tea was recommended by the LLMD and definitely works, ie Red Zinger is one.

It's not a supplement... but an addition.
David Wolfe does an experiment which shows the actual change in blood when people are grounded. At some point in this series he mentions that people who use grounding as a part of their everyday life have to come off medicines like cumadin and thyroid meds because their blood flows better. Really interesting.
Of course, they are selling their own sheets and products. You can find other (less expensive) ideas for grounding on the Earthing thread... it should be near the top.
