Right after dinner my hands from the finger tips down and palms turned very red and hot to the touch.
So hot in fact, my husband and I had split a candy bar ( a no-no, but I couldn't resist).
My fingertips melted my candybar and his did not.
This happens out of the blue for no reason every once in awhile.
I've pulled up Raynaud's and though my hands are usually cold more than normal or warm, they've never turned white and purple like the pics on the Internet.
Sometimes they turn a purple/red but not deep purple like the Internet pictures.
I read that ERYTHROMELALGIA is the opposite of Raynaud's.
I have no pain with this just intense warmth and redness out of nowhere that lasts under 10 mins and is back to normal.
For example, this happened a half hour ago and now while on the computer my right hand feels warm/normal and my left hand is colder.
Any thoughts on this?
I'll have to take a picture of this when it happens and take to my first Rheumatology appt. in a week.

I had this with my lyme disease with coinfection of Babesia.
It took a couple of months before it went away with abx for the lyme and babesia.
I don't know about the other erythromelalgia.
My reg. dr. sent me to a rheumatologist and he couldn't tell me anything.
You should see a LLMD just to rule out lyme.
good luck!
