The above study seems to suggest that macrolides might be ineffective without use of something like Plaquenil.

Is that generally accepted in the Lyme (among LLMDs, I mean) community?

My LLMD prescribed Plaquenil with Biaxin or Zith.

Oh no! I am only taking Biaxin with malraone and tindamax. Should I be using plaquenil as well?

You probably should be SashaC. it's common practice for LLMDs.

I was prescribed Plaquenil with my Biaxin but it caused bad stomach pain for me.

So I took it without .. with great success. I imagine I could have gotten well more quickly with the plaq.. but who really knows?
