My "normal" temperature is always in the 97's but I always feel warm like I have a low grade fever. Summer time is always difficult for me.

Funny that you posted this......just last night I noticed I was running a fever and still have one this morning.
Yet, I feel totally fine. My body temp is normally very low.
I ran a fever a few months ago for a little over a week and never felt bad. After the fever went away I have been feeling good ever since.
Now, the fever is back and I still feel fine. I have no idea why.

I ran a low grade fever for years. Mostly around 100, sometimes higher but not usually over 101.
My low grade fevers are mostly gone after years of antibiotics and having thyroid issues. Still have them once in awhile though.

Hi, From my experience nursing/P.A./ hosp. Took many temps. In am most people little on low side. By 11am. about 96. & above. Almost all. Running very low reg. daily temp for me happened after my Lyme kicked up. Stays the same will go to 96. if out in sun. Can get it up after 20min. 140 deg. in sauna. Not normal to run such low temps. These buggers very smart. (Just like flu grows in cold & not summer......) Same happens to ours bods. with low temp.,they multiply & know it, so keep temp down. We need temps. to kill off bad stuff. People who run low grade normally have active EBV,cfids. My Dr. said, all his Lymies/FM-ers run low grade temp. Even after hot car ride i go there is about 96.97temp. tops. Tells us how smart these chetes++ are. I also go through chills, feels like temp. but no. If run 99 know I have temp. for sure. Interesting how they find ways to advance??? Huggggssss, to ALL IN NEED, Kerry Sorry if messed up feel like doo-doo....!!!!!

I always have a 95-96 temp everyday? I will shake with chills and my hands and feet are freezing all the time. Then I will get this hot flush (not flash lol) and my neck and face turn red for a bit till it fades? I feel cold to the bones ever since this lyme thing.

Low body temperature
Some of you may be familiar with "Jenna's Blog" (another lyme survivor).
Jenna makes some comments about her experience then shares info from Dr. J/KS about the seriousness of having low body temperature.
I'm looking for info about how to raise the body temp...when I find it...I'll post it. (Not sure it will be today as I have some stuff I gotta do...)

My temp for years has always been around 96.8 not 98.6.
Posted by Razzle (Member # 30398) on :
I usually am about 97.4, but have been as low as 95.
When I get up to 98.6, I feel like I'm sick with a fever...
I almost never get official fevers, even if I have the flu or a bad cold. I usually get fevers as an allergic reaction (fluoride, tetanus shot, etc.) instead... My immune system is totally messed up though...chronically low lymphocytes (low B-cells, low CD8 T-cells, and sometimes low CD4 T-cells)...

Low here too. Normal for me is 96. Although with this Lyme, Bart, etc. I feel like I am running a fever, but temp is always low each day.

My normal temp is around 97.6 and I always feel hot and sweaty. I was walking around running errands last week in a t-shirt and jeans when it was 25 degrees. Summer is brutal for me, I literally feel like I am suffocating and melting.
