Why can I walk pretty far some days and need to sit on the stairs and push myself down them other days? Does it have to do with inflammation in the brain?
I have Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, Anaplasmosis, Mycoplasma, if that makes any difference.

I am the same tired and I dont know why. I can go from hour to hour and be different. My LLMD said it is neuro lyme affecting all five of my senses. Meaning yes it is the inflammation of the balance nerves in the brain and the nerves in my legs that allow movement.
Hope this helps.

I have this too which really perplexes me. Some days I feel strong and others like today my knees buckle and I feel so, so weak. Some days my balance is way off and other days I walk effortlessly and think, wow, so this is what it feels like to walk like a normal person?! I have forgotten. It is very discouraging for me to lose symptoms and have them come back.

Me too. I have had days were my legs just go out from under me and I can not walk for days or weeks, than I am fine. I never know from one minute to other how they are going to act. I hate it. I have a walker and wheel chair. However I am usally in pain or so fatique the walker is out. I never go anywhere without my chair because of this. I just keep thinking its got to get better and it is. It is just a slow process. Thank you for your post. It lets me know I am not alone.

My son has this same issue. That's why we got him a wheelchair. He doesn't use it all the time...
One thing we did for him is set up chairs every 10-15 feet around the house so he can grab onto something or sit down if he is feeling weak.
He's twelve and he walks like he is 85. Some days he can't walk at all, so he crawls. He has fallen several times.
