"Although the mechanism of parasite destruction was not determined, these results suggest that resistance to and recovery from a primary B. microti infection is modulated by T lymphocytes, and that depressed B cell function and normal T cell function are correlates of this infection."

I don't know what this means yet, but I'm thinking we must find ways to boost T lymphocytes.

Thought this was interesting. If you look at the symptoms for having a low b-cell count, these symptoms might ring a bell.

Symptoms of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma are varied, but may include some or all of the following

* Swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, and/or groin.
* Unintentional or unexplained weight loss.
* Night sweats
* Fatigue or tiredness
* High fever
* Pain or bloating in the abdomen
* Chest pain or a persistent cough
* Difficulty breathing
