Are you looking for polygonum cuspidatum (knotweed) as resveratrol source, or for polygonum multiflorum, also called Fo-Ti? They are both pretty much opposite herbs in their functions.
Either way, I would suggest you do a search for products on the website of Planetary Herbals, Natural Factors or try a search on www.iherb.com (where discount herbs are available).
REad more about both herbs here: www.christopherhobbs.com see the cautions about the knotweed, very important!

There is a user here who in fact has that very name: Polly Polygonum. I'm guessing she knows. She may even be related to the developer of the herb. Kidding. I bet she can help though.

jlcd, being a herbalist but not versed in lyme matters as of yet (Despite being a patient myself! Is that crazy or what? Yes!) I will answer cautiously:
Resveratrol (from grape skin extract or knotweed, latin name polygonum multiflorum) can be used to treat (bartonella? Pretty sure but I know it is either for lyme or one of the co-infections).
Sorry I can't be more specific and yes I need to do more research. I am looking forward to learning more about the bugs as I read on this forum and more about the herbal solutions as I consult other sources.

OOps! Correction: Sorry I have been fatigued so my focus was not as sharp as it could have been as I posted. Knotweed is polygonum cuspidatum (not multiflorum) and yes, the resveratrol extracted from the plant's root (and from red grape skins) is used to treat either lyme or bartonella *for sure*. The slight question in my mind is which one, but I am fairly sure it is used for bartonella.

Knotweed is for lyme and bartonella. As far as I remember, Buhner says, it's not the resveratrol but the plant itself (root) that works for the infection.

Here is the link for the website which lists the Buhner herbs and where to purchase them. I was on them for a while when I took a break from abx and it really helped.

I have found the Country Life product "Resveratrol Plus" to be very good for me. It contains some whole japanese knotweed, but a concentrated dose of the resveratrol in it, as well as some other sources of resveratrol in concentrated form.
