I looked on direct labs, and there are so many tests, I don't know which would be the one to get.

There is a stool antigen kit, IgA, IgG, IgM, and I don't even know what the stool Genova kit is, to name a few listed.

There are 7 tests to choose from. Some cost way too much to do, but the ones under $100 I might think seriously about doing.

I really would like to know if this is what is causing my digestive problems and acid reflux. Don't want to start Nexium or any other PPI if at all possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

The only test I've ever had was when I was scoped. I'm having another scope on Tuesday. Go here to see my comments on my "acid reflux" pain...

You are smart not to begin a PPI if you don't have to. DO consider the possibility of yeast/candida in your esophagus.

I think it is also part of a metametrix test and you can order Quest or Labcorp IGG, IGM.

Pylori problems can resemble babesia and pylori can be misdiagnosed as babesia.

The stool test is good. I was recently positive on the blood test too (not sure what kind of cross reaction lyme would cause on the blood test though).

I suspect lyme abx protocols make HP especially resistant. Initial triple therapy did not appear to clear my HP.

It's good to look for HP though and eradicate when found.

Thanks everyone.

Lymetoo, I didn't know anything about D-mannose. I'm still learning. And, I guess acid reflux could be anything. Thanks.

Lymeorsomething, I'm glad you told me about the stool test, as it all is confusing as to which test to order. I do suspect many of us Lymies have H. Pylori.
