hi,

I wonder if there is a big difference between Rifampicin given as IV and Rifampicin given orally.

I think that IV Rifampin is far more effective than oral Rifampin IMHO. I've done both. My stomach would bother me with the IV. I only did one week. I will do another week soon. I stay on oral Rifampin in between.

Me too...done both, I prefer IV.

I did both and the oral was very strong also so if oral is all you can get you should take it as it is a great drug
