it seems about an hour after i get up i have to go the bathroom and fast!!! you'd better get out of the way cause when i have an urge, i go!!

it can't be any breakfast cause i wouldn't think it would go through my system that fast.

i can't go anywhere until after i go in the morning.

is this lyme or just normal?

Good question. This happens to me, too.

My C.diff is back, and I always have morning diarrhea with it. If your diarrhea is pure liquid, it could be C.diff.

I also just resumed Zoloft, and the side effect is diarrhea.

Double whammy for me.

My son has diarrhea first time, now 2 weeks into azithromycin, amox and supplements

If it is C Diff - which we were advised could be an issue, what is the treatment?

c.diff treatment is usually flagyl and cipro (a quinlones which i can't take).

and take plenty of probiotics. and florastor, twice a day.

I just take Flagyl. It works right away.

I think it also comes with Lyme disease as I was not on any abx and had this issue. For me it was also diet based. I found that cutting out bread in the morning really helped. For some reason, I was able to tolerate it in the evening without any problems.

Adding in psyllium really helped too.. Products like metamucil or even psyllium powder from the health foods store works..

You having milk in your coffee in the am? Could be lactose intollerance. It's normal to have to go in the am, but the runs means side effect (check your Rx's), yeast, or food allergy.

Thanks, this is for my son (11)... he stayed home today but seems better this evening.

Doc also reduced Amox to 250 mg/day from 500 mg/day

He is on Amox and Azo, also Mg, Vit D, Vit B, ALA, Probiotics, CO-Q10 - all the supplements on Doc's list.
