But please remember that malaria and babesia are not the same. Malaria seems so much easier to treat.
Hubby has taken 500 mg of B5 3 times per day most of the last 5 or 6 years. Hopefully it has helped with adrenal issues, but it hasn't done much for babs that I can tell.

I understand, Bea. What confuses me about the study was that it suggests the Provitamin form is what inhibits the growth, not the Pantothenic Acid form of B5.
Also suggesting that B5 is an survival essential for this parasite.

Hubby has been taking the more expensive Pantothenol form for about 2 months -- but at a lower dose -- just one Jarrow capsule per day -- would have to check the dose. But still can't see any real effects.
I switch his supplements around on an irregular basis so sometimes he might not notice anything symptom wise. I count out the pills into small pill bags and he has no idea what he is taking specifically at any point in time.
