I'm so nauseated all the time that I have to force myself to eat, and then afterward I feel even worse. Actuallly, I need to lose some weight, so it's been pretty good for my figure! But I hate feeling sick to my stomach all the time and I don't want my metabolism to slow down.

I know it's from the antibiotics because they always make me nauseated, but I've never taken any for more than 10 days before. I can't imagine being this way long-term. Will this side effect subside?

What meds are you on and doses? Some are tougher than others and it varies from person to person.

Are you taking all antibiotics with a meal? I strongly recommend it!

Jennifer,
Buy some gel caps from a compounding pharmacy.
Put all your meds into the gel caps. It will help.

My doctor has me put all my meds in gel caps and I had to double gel cap Biaxin since it still bothered my stomach with one gel cap. Also, the gel cap will disolve in your small intestine not the stomach.

Take your meds to the compounding pharmacy and ask for gel caps to fit your meds. Some meds that are large may have to be split to fit in the gel cap.

Usually 00 and 000 gel caps will work with most meds.

It will save your stomach but it is an extra expense. I think it's worth it.

20 months on meds and I only had that one problem with Biaxin and it was easily solved.

Don't suffer, there are ways to work around the stomach upset. This one, I know.........works.
