are tmj symptoms typical of lyme? i wore a splint many years ago. starting out wearing it 24/7 then had to wear it only at night.

back then it costs 3 grand.

i simply can't afford that right now.

does anybody have tmj and would 3 grand be considered expensive for a splint now?

did your tmj symptoms go away with lyme treatment?

My last splint was 2 grand and included the check-ups and tweaking of splint.

And no my TMJ pain did not go away with over 3 years of lyme treatment, and it's not any worse being off abx's for over 4 months now.

If you are in a lot of pain you may want to check into prolotherapy injections. This helped me greatly.
