What antibiotic treatment was most effective in treating your lyme and bartonella?

Hey DocA,
There have been a number of posts discussing this. It may be hard to get responses over the weekend, so doing a search may be a quicker way to get some answers.
The basic conclusion is, every one is individual and no one treatment has proven to benefit all patients due to coinfections, past history, duration of illness, etc.

Long term bactrim and zith really helped-knocked down the babs too. Unfortunately, I became allergic to sulpha

If this means anything, Bactrim was just added to my Zith and Omnicef specifically to beging hitting Bart. I began a Herx so bad within 2 days of this - major, huge, dibilitating Bart symptoms so bad, I reluctantly stopped the Bactrim on Friday evening. So, I would say Bactrim and Zith (or just Bactrim) work for Bart.

I have been treating Lyme and Bart for over 2 months. My first combo was Rifampin, Doxy and Flagy. Now I am on Rifampin, Flagyl and Ceftin. Too early to measure effectiveness but hopefully this combo is effective!
