So lastnight i took my first bath. I only stayed in the tub for about 10min since it was my first. It was so nice & relaxing & put me right to sleep after.

Today i woke up feeling pretty "different", its pretty hard to explain the feeling. I've been detoxing internally with milk thistle & lemon water & i started taking Vitamin C pills yesterday & i finally detox externally yesterday.

I'm just looking for someone's opinion on if this is a good sign?...I'm also having alot of tinnitus hearing my ears feel so sensitive to every sound & i still have that "invisible" feeling

Can you describe "feeling pretty different" in the best way you can? Did you shower after your detox bath?

You absorb magnesium through your skin from the Epsom Salts.

Every cell in your body needs magnesium for all the enzyme processes.
Lyme bacteria use it up.

The liver needs magnesium to make glutathione, which detoxifies the neurotoxins left behind by the dead Lyme bacteria.

Gwb- Yes i definelty did shower off, but am i suppose to shower off with soap?... The feeling is like im stuck in the middle of the depersonalization feeling.. like part of me feel a tiny bit like myself but i still feel that invisible feeling.. its sound weird but thats the best way to describe it

Hah, it's VERY good that you're absorbing magnesium!

I've tried the magnesium oil, which leaves your skin feeling sticky, like when you swim in the ocean.

You probably wouldn't need soap to get the residue off your skin.

I wonder if continued intake of mag will help the psychological issues.

Sounds like you had a good experience with your detox bath. Keep it up. My wife and I do three a week and feel it's an important part of our healing protocol.

As far as using soap when you shower, as long as you use a wash cloth or loofah to get all the salt residue off of your body you probably don't need soap, but it doesn't hurt to use soap either.

We use all natural hypoallergenic, non fragrance, soaps made of coconut oil. We find it to be good for preventing our skin from getting dry from the salts. Coconut soaps (and oil) helps to keep our skin moist and it also helps to heal the cracks in my feet.

I didn't know that showering off afterward was required.

They say to rinse because if not the toxins may be reabsorbed? Not sure if that is possible but I do it.

You want to really absorb Mg. Go buy a dry skin brush and vigorously brush skin in circular motions from head to toe, then jump in the bath.

I use Kirk's Castile body soap http://www.amazon.com/Coco-Castile-Body-Wash-Ounces/dp/B001ESA2ZA You can get it at your local health food store (probably more expensive) or vitacost, iherb, etc.

Here's what is says about this soap:

I think any good hypoallergenic soap without chemicals is fine. Find one that you like and use it. We prefer unscented soaps, but they also have some natural smelling scented soaps if you prefer to us soap with scents.

You can pretty much take as much vitamin C as you'd like. I take 1000 mg a day, 500mg in the morning and 500mg in the afternoon. Here's what I use http://www.vitacost.com/Natures-Way-Alive-Vitamin-C/?vbnpid=31746 . It's a powdered vitamin but they have them in capsules if you prefer. It's non-GMO organic fruit, with no fillers.

Most all of my supplements are whole foods supplements, and I try to avoid fillers and preservatives if at all possible. If you take too much it will give you diarrhea. If that happens you simply cut back until you have normal bowel movements.

About showering afterwards. Some people lay down for a hour or a few hours before they rinse off. They find the detox baths relaxing and calming, so they lay down for a few minutes or longer. This is fine, but it's best you shower at least three to four hours after the bath. Some people will get itchy skin, a rash, or other issues if it's left on the skin too long. There's different opinions of this, but most "experts" will say to shower afterwards. Google it and come to your own conclusion.

bigstan gave some excellent advice. Your skin in the biggest organ of your body. You can remove a lot of toxins from your skin if you dry brush daily. My wife is very faithful at doing this twice a day, even if she doesn't take a detox bath. As you can see from bigstan's post, there are tons of benefits to dry brushing daily.
