After 3 weeks on rifampin/zith I had a couple of good days, but had a lot of breathing issues (short of breath) so my LLMD switched me to malarone.
Just finished my 2nd week (4th week of pulsing art) and still feel tired, weak, thighs feel like jello. My nausea is 24/7. Now I feel pain in my left arm (in the bone).
My POTS is no better, and I am sooo tired.
When do you notice an improvement on babs tx?
I feel like I've been gettin worse the past 2 weeks, and wonder if I'm hitting the right stuff. My bottom of my feet hurt during the day-heard that can be babs as well as bart.
Anyone feel better when?

hey,
when u had some good days, i would stay on the ABx, breathing issues can be caused by bartonella as well as babesia, people who are herxing have some breathing issues often too. so you cant specify which is causing the breathing issues, its important to sort an allergic reaction out.
i had some breathing issues too when i herxed, i had them on babesia meds, as well as on "normal" abx.

I think you need at least four months of babs treatment before you feel better... I guess this is because it takes four months for our body to renew the blood cells...
