I just started on probiniced. I need it so that my amoxicillin will be absorbed more.

So, now I have been getting massive headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, etc.

Is this a side effect? herx?

In the morning, I feel 90% better but an hour or so later, I just crash and feel really crappy and tired.

That is always about an hour after I have taken my meds.! so does that mean that I am better and just having side effects?

or does it mean that I am still herxing on amoxicillin?

my skin and nerve pain is finally easing up! yahoo! i can somewhat function now, but I can't last all day.

So, I am really wondering if I am better, or if I am still herxing after 18 months.

I am scared of ending my treatment too early! [confused]

I am having many, many wierd lucid dreams!

I just had a dream that Warren Buffet died. Then they froze his body. Then they dug a huge hole in the ground, 30 feet deep, then they added stairs. They put Warren Buffet's frozen body in this hole. people were paying a lot of money to go see the body!

Isn't that just aweful! It was a horrible dream.

My head and neck hurt so bad!

Is this because of probinicid? or a herx?

that sounds a side effect. I have taken meds that conclude with horrible headaches, vivid bad dreams and other ridiculous symptoms. i would switch. If you were herxing, im sure you'd know the difference.

wow!

I then realized that I had taken 2 probinicid per day, and maybe that was just way too much too soon

I also had increased my Zithromax yesterday too!

so I will back off and see if it helps!

It sounds to me like you are herxing. Now that the amoxi is being kept in your blood stream all day by the probinecid, you are now killing germs all day long. That is new for you. So, the toxins are building up in your body.

Headache is a possible side effect of probinecid. But, all of the symptoms you named are a lyme herx--neck pain, jaw pain, fatigue, feeling horrible, sleepy, etc.

You should be taking probinecid with each dose of doxy.
