Have not seen this mentioned yet by anyone.

Clongen Lab now offers enrichment testing for borrelia, babesia, bartonella and mycoplasma.

This is similar to the testing that Galaxy Labs was doing for bartonella.

Clongen provides a test tube with the culture medium in it and then the lab adds your blood sample and mails back the test tube. The culture is grown out for 10 days and then PCR testing is done. Supposed to improve odds of getting a positive PCR test.

Hubby just had this test done for babesia species.

The enrichment costs an additional $125 for each enrichment -- for example $125 additional for babs or bart or $250 if both are tested with enrichment.

Has anyone else has this testing done yet? What were your test results?

Will post hubby's results in a couple of weeks when they are available.

I just called clongen lab this morning. They are not licenced in NY... it's the only state where doctors can't order their tests.

Holy cow, that's great. Thanks for the info. What is their regular bartonella/babesia antibody testing cost before the enrichment?
