I know steroids are bad to take with bacterial infections like lyme, but if you are only dealing with Babesia, would it still have the same effect?

I would think it would be the same. It would still suppress your immune system.

some drs have to give you steroids in the beginning of treatment at the same time as ABXS. At Roadback Foundation when RA patients start the ABX protocol Dr. Brown who devised it had patients on 2mg of prednisone to help with the herxes until the body calmed down. Just don't take them alone.
