The ISAC test is the one you are interested in. It stands for Immune System Activiation of Clotting.

Right .. the ISAC.

--Found it:

ISAC Panel -- Flow Only
Platelet activation by flow:
CD62P
CD62P + ADP

ISAC Panel -- coag only

Fibrinogen
Soluble fibrin monomer
T/AT (which is Thrombin/antithrombin)
Fragment 1+2

I had it through my MO LLMD at the time. Expensive test w/little yield. It came back normal and later he said something about it being mildly abnormal due to reference range changes or something. I honestly wish I would've saved the $400. lol.

I'll look at the exact panel name and get back to you. [Smile]

It's very important to know about and treat if you have hypercoagulation. I think my LLMD said 90% of his lyme patients are positive for it.

Thank you everyone. Bea and TuTu for the specific tests.

I called Hemex and the gal said that LabCorp is their parent company???

this panel from Hemex is self-pay then? according to Seek, it is??

I do believe that it is important..esp. the fibrin aspect, at least for me, considering the condition of my last PICC line when it was pulled.

Thanks everyone for your input/help.
