After a bit of investigation I realized that my local hospital laboratory did not do my Lyme testing. They sent it out. Wondered if there was opinions out there on Quest Diagnostics Labs? It was the one here in Michigan... so one that doesn't have any special licenses besides CLIA compliant and CAP proficient.
I know that they don't run a full panel of western blots.... only 10 of IGG, 3 of IGM. And know that I will be pursuing further testing once I get into a LLMD. But, was just curious about quality of testing from that lab.

VERY VERY lousy. One reason is as you stated. They do not test for all possible bands.
If you have a positive thru them you can trust it .. but a negative means nothing.

My LLMD had me texted through Ignex.. Very pleased with them. Also some testing through Lab Corp...but Ignex seems to be teh best for doing the Western Blot (Just my opinion)
