the past 3 days, I have been getting excruciating headaches behind the eyes at the same time every night. The pain is pretty bad. and it comes at the same time, around 9pm, every night.

Is this familiar to anyone? Does it sound like a particular infection besides Lyme? I have been treating Bart for 5 months. I have had these headaches before, around 2 months into Bart treatment, after alot of other symptoms cleared.
Could this be BABS? more Bart? More Lyme?

Hi Lymeboy: I know the headaches you are talking about as I have gotten them badly with Bart treatment - Rifampin and doing the sauna every other day. To my knowledge these are notorious for Bart -- the behind the eyes, frontal headaches. I feel your pain...

I tend to get the headaches a few hours after taking my meds - including the rifampin. The only thing that does take the edge off for me has been Excederin migraine but I do not like to do that ... I took that once. I have heard that Alkaseltzer gold can help. A cold compress over your eyes also helps me. You can pick up the gel eye wrap around your head spa like things from target or something like that. I keep one in the fridge at all times. I hope this helps...

I also just finished a colon cleanse. after which a slew of old symptoms came back. bad depression for two days, and now these headaches. The dizziness is ever present. Getting ready for an internal cleanse, which is supposed to clear parasites and bodywide toxins. I'm a bit nervous to see what kind of crap this stirs up.

I can handle the headaches for now...I just wonder if the scheduled occurence of them is an indicator for a certain infection. - I see new LLMD next month, and I want to get as much as possible to him so we can proceed with all our guns a-blazin'

My doctor said that anytime a certain symptom happened at the same time everyday, it was most likely medication related. Because normally you take your meds all at the same time....so it stands to reason that if something happens at the sametime every day it was medication related, whether the medicine was causing it or the meds were wearing off and causing the symptom to reoccur. Just a thought.
