DDEC2 & IckyTicky, May I ask your symptoms (assuming neuro)? I am currently being treated for Lyme (CDC positive on bands 23, 41, IGM); however had seen an MS specialist prior who said possible MS. Very interesting!

My symptoms started with what seemed like vestibular issues. Constantly dizzy, vertigo, loss of balance.
Then it developed into weakness, burning, numbness, tingling, heavyness in my extremities.
What made the diagnosis of MS even more likely is my MRI showed a lesion near my corpus collisum.
I havent started treatment for lyme yet but im really hoping it does the trick cause a life with MS is not something i am looking forward to.

Definitely treat the Lyme. Lyme can cause lesions too...not sure about the location though.
Be sure to read the link above... I would suggest printing it out.
In the link Dr C states that 83-93 is the DNA of the Bb.

May be worth treating Lyme, but I would not throw away the MS diagnosis. The earlier you catch MS the better. IVIG is administered for MS and has been very helpful in some.

Our Dr. M. here in Canada states that multiple small superficial lesions are indicative of Lyme while the large deeper lesions may be MS, but that they are subject to interpretation.

If you have the MS diagnosis and the Lyme bands watch Michele's 2 video's on youtube. Here is the 1st. She was diagnosed with MS and ended up having 23 & 41 bands positive.
