Im thinking i want to go on iv soon. i have vision and hearing problems. as well as mass joint inflammation and nerve pain. im on 3g amox and 400mg doxy a day w malarone. would rocephin just be infintely better than the oral combo?

Well...I have been told by 3 LLMD's that 400mg of Doxy is "like IV" and has excellent BBB. It worked for me...my brain MRI was abnormal with lesions before treatment and now it is normal. MY LL Neuro says research in Europe shows it can be as good as IV.

Nothing is for sure. There are a lot of drawbacks to IV Rocephin in my opinion.
Gallbladder damage would be one thing to consider.
