My LLMD ordered a bunch of blood work and also ordered the CD57, but fm Quest, he says they do it now. I won't speak with him until Fri but I have my results and Quest indicates my level is a 5, in range and the reference range states "Pct in Gate", what ever that means?? I am really confused by this. Has anyone ever had one fm Quest?

I don't think it's reliable. Dunno.

Sounds like maybe the 5 is the percentage number and not the absolute number. The absolute number is the number almost everyone really looks at.

From what I have read you should use Lab Corp not quest for the CD57.

Ditto to what abxnomore said. The bit of research I've done just in the last week or so says there is only lapcorp and one other (I can't remember the name right now) that do it properly.
Also the blood sample they took from you should have been processed within 12 hours or the results will not be accurate. This is why Labcorp won't take sample designated for a cd57 on fridays, no time to process.
Keep in mind I am biased here. Just like kix are for kids.... I Think.....quest is for quacks
Im sort of kidding there but sorta not. Quest does fine for regular workups but I really do think they miss the boat on the lymie stuff
Just my opinion, no disrespect for anyone who is partial to quest

I agree with you and I am going to bring that up when i speak with him tomarrow and ask him to give me a slip for a retest at labcorp
