Does Dr. Kstill do urine therapy where you inject your own urine into your body? does anyone know if this really works and how you do it?

** edited to remove doctor's name **

Please remove docs name..

I just dont get the rationale behind injecting r drinking your own urine? Your body makes urine to remove waste. Urine = waste. I know we are all beyond desperate to get well, but this theory is just waaay too out there.

i am not saying this directy at you op, but THESE ideas are why most main stream docs think lyme patients and llmds are nuts.

I met someone that tried it and said it was a miracle. I personally felt like hurling when I heard about it.

This is from my facebook by a well known Lyme author:

Though we have been conditioned to think of urine as "dirty," quite the opposite is true. Urine fresh from the "spigot" is actually sterile, devoid of any pathogens at all, (except in the case of a urinary or kidney infection). Urine is 95 percent water. The other five percent of our urine is made of dissolved and suspended solids, none of which are toxic. The two main components are simple salt and a compound called urea. In addition to salt and urea, other elements include hormones, proteins, antibodies and other beneficial pharmacological agents. So far from being harmful, urine actually does have known healing agents. Furthermore, if urine has a bad taste or smell, it is generally from the diet or habits of the contributor. Poor diet, poor habits and you will get a rank and smelly urine. The point is that urine components reflect the provider.

I think drinking it is really repulsive but it may work along the same premise as fecal transplant for c-diff and that procedure is curative..

Yes he does still make you drink it. I know someone who is doing urine shots with him right now!! I dont get it but I know that urine does wonders on other ailments, so maybe there is something to it?

the reason why it works is that urine helps the liver a great deal... I know someone who cured his hepatitis B by drinking her own urine... So urine injections must be a miracle to treat babesia...and help the liver ilter the blood...

Some people try homeopathically prepared urine. I think I tried it a few times but I discontinued it for some reason. This article makes it sound promising -

excerpt-

Scientific Evidence

The most amazing aspect of urine therapy is its effectiveness in such a wide range of different diseases.

There are several reasons for this. For one, urine contains antibodies and immune stimulating factors against all viruses, harmful bacteria or fungi that we may harbour in our body. The researchers stated that even minute amounts of antibodies, sometimes so low that they cannot be detected with conventional methods, are effective in preventing and treating diseases.

There are reports investigating and describing the curative effects of urine therapy on a wide range of infectious, fungal and viral infections, such as hepatitis, poliomyelitis and AIDS. Urine is especially effective against allergies, auto-immune diseases and other disorders of the immune system.

To switch off an allergic reaction one must put a few drops of urine under the tongue, collected during the reaction, or the urine may be homoeopathically diluted and some of it kept in the mouth for a few minutes.

When drinking urine routinely, allergic reactions may not occur at all, thus doing away with the need to identify which substance one has been reacting to.
