Sorry you are suffering so badly. I think I mentioned this to you before, so I apologize if I am beind redundant.
Can you possibly do an herbal antiparasitic tx? Chronic candida is often underlying a parasite infestation and is on the list of symptoms for parasties. Coconut Oil? Salt/c?
Even if you start in very small doses, it's better than doing nothing. BYW, herbs for tx parasites can also be antifungal and antibacterial. Hope you find a solution.

I've been reading up on yeast and I'm finding what Gael states to be true.
One site I read recommended doing a colon and parasite cleanse at the beginning of your regimen to treat the yeast.

Only SMART doctors. I am thankfully blessed with one. (I no longer have an LLMD) and I suppose that is your problem???? Most LLMD's are smart enough to know how to prevent and/or treat candida.
If you're having to find a general practitioner to help you, it may be a long search.
You may just have to buy Diflucan from Canada.
---PS... I'm finally turning the corner on my yeast issues. I've been taking VSL#3 DS for 6 months+ and Diflucan for at least 5 of those months.

with the porphyria herbs make it worse i was on diflucan and it triggers porphyria. my llmd is not much of a help.treatment for the porphyria is carbs...and the porphyria was triggered and only got worse since fall 2006 because i was told i was herxing for years.
if I stop the abx every joint in my body hurts even worse (my neck and back feel like they are being ripped apart from the porphyria. my head has been hurting worse and worse for years and i dont have very much control over my legs)
the yeast makes the nerves in my arms legs face hurt so bad.
i think i have leaky gut and i gave nmy llmd the paper for what lab tests that and he just said he doesnt do it.
I lost all the function i had over the past 4 1/2 years (because i wqasnt herxing a had a whole new disease that was getting worse and worse)and now i feel like i am just supposed to figure it out.
my mcs is so bad going to any dr is so hard. I have had mcs since 2008 and was never told there was drs that specailized in it by any dr. so i made appointment with one but the first appt is sept.
At this rate i am not sure i will still be alive then.. this may all kill me long before then if i cant start to eat the carbs to treat the porphyria. it can do some really bad things and mine has been porgressing unchecked for 4 1/2 years.
i am taking so much stuff there is no reason yeast should be out of control.
vsl3 8 packets culturelle 6 per day threelac candex adp symbion saccromyces boullardi
and i have been taking diflucan every day.
something is very wrong and right now i dont have a dr who is interested in finding out what.
I am spending way more than i have but i am just trying not to die.

i am so sorry. i know how you feel. it's like nobody even cares isn't it?
at least you have diflucan. i can't even get that.
read up on threelac. it has something in it that has caused it to be banned in lots of countries. it promotes a systemic bacterial infection. so please be careful.
now i don't know if it's true, but just goggle threelac complaints and you'll see.
i've been taking all that also, except for the threelac, and i'm just getting worse.
what about a rheumie? or an internist? they're supposed to be good?

I wonder if high doses of lactoferrin might help you fight off the yeast infections? It supports the immune system and inhibits fungal growth. Check out PubMed for references, there are lots, I just don't have them saved on my computer.
Maybe you could find an integrative med doc to help treat you? Or a Naturopath?

my llmd is internal medicine. but no help.
was on diflucan . had to stop can make other diseas(porphyria worse)...lots of meds can.. lots of supplements can too

8 packets a day ?? I would wanna barf!! I take 2 and that is enough.
What natural yeast killers have you tried? Caprylic acid, GSE, garlic, etc??
I feel for you because if you have to eat carbs, it will be next to impossible to eradicate yeast. Maybe you can get it to a manageable state though.
I'll add you to my prayer list.

have you tried an infectious disease dr for help?? ( yuck, gross, etc )
I'll send you a PM.

I've heard people talk about SF722 although I don't really know anything about it. Maybe you can research that a bit?

Have you been tested for presence of heavy metals? Those can inhibit progress for resolving fungal infections.
Also, you may look to ACAM (ACAM.org) for a greater number of practitioners that are familiar with and treat yeast infections.

Lauricidin fights yeast/fungus .

what makes you so sure the problem is yeast? a positive test?

I would suggest reading 80/10/10. I spent years on protein and fat diets to control the yeast. It wasn't until I tried 80/10/10 that I started to have any real control over yeast, and I tried just about every product under the sun. Takes a few weeks to kick in, but I found that if I stick with it religiously, it made a huge difference for me.

SF722 is by Thorne and I did find it to be helpful when I first started treating candida along with the No sugar No yeast diet.

Candida Yeast Management by NSI has also been helpful. Hope you can get improvement soon.
