This was done through NeuroScience. Took 2 weeks to process and get the report.

Anyone know about these IL's ?

What is the best way to treat this in your experience. Diflucan and Nystatin are failures from what I've heard.

I'm taking Virgin Coconut oil, but what about Threelac, Caprylic acid ? What is best and most effective including frequency and dosage ?

Thanks in advance,

Gary

please research threelac. i have heard it has a strain of bacteria that has been banned in australia. look up "complaints against threelac".

but others swear by it....go figure.

but please be careful.

i've heard vancomycin is good for yeast. at least i think that's the name. don't use the nystatin liquid, too much sugar.

i ordered VSL #3. heard it was good.

if I'm right, a doctor can prescribe and insurance can cover? But I ordered out of pocket for now until I can get that confirmed.

This is the first I've ever seen this. I'm not familiar with the role of all the interleukins either.

Wiki has a nice chart though. Not sure if you came across that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interleukin

You can then click on each IL and get a bit more detailed information on it.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing what you find out.

For Yeast, I take Nystatin and also Oil of Oregano. I can't take any Diflucan or Lamisil (for toe fungus) because I'm on Mepron.

For stomach, I take Body Biotics and Floraster. When I can, I also drink a little of plain Kefir. Occasionally I'll do the coconut oil (I do this for parasites, I didn't know it also helps with yeast?).

There is an anti-yeast diet that one can follow but it's rather difficult for me.

To KILL yeast .. Diflucan or sporanox ..

To PREVENT yeast... Nystatin and VSL#3 DS .. prescripton

THERAlac is awesome too.

(Nystatin kills yeast .. but it's more of a preventative)

Could you tell me how much the testing cost? OR .. how much would it be for candida only?

I m with you on the yeast "diet" apljack, Ive tried to follow that and its next to impossible, especially with my very fast metabolism.. The best I can do is cut back on the yeast no no's, seriously if I followed it strictly I d weigh 80 pounds and be near death.

I agree gryphon. I lost 10 lbs going on this diet. 5'8'' and 113 lbs...bad bizness!!! No bread, No dairy and of course no crazy amounts of sugary things. But all those other little rules...extreme.

i've tried, i really have but eating only meat and vegetables really made me sick.

no dairy at all was bad enough but then no carbs at all.

maybe that's why i've been so weak and it helped this crash, don't know.

i do loose on it, but it is the most impossible thing to do.

I can't image no dairy. I'm going to attempt with all my heart going gluten free.

But the thought of no dairy is a nightmare.

I guess I need to be a rabbit.

yea honestly the last few days of trying to be strict on this diet I feel like I ve gotten worse with my lyme symptoms. And have had very little improvement in the yeast as well, I think I will be going back to a moderate amount of good carbs, grains and such.

In fact I ve noticed my anxiety symptoms which had been fairly under control recently flared up bad as ever. I think the lack of carbs is bringing my blood sugar too low, possibly.
