Does anyone have any nausea side effects from it? Been taking it at night with a snack and have been fine a month and a half in but am now waking with AM nausea again and have trouble eating until around lunch time.

been on azithro for over 2yrs ...never had nausea.
try eating a larger meal...and wait a little while then take azithro.
or try sandwiching it in between a larger meal

also...azithro stays in your sysmtem for a while.
Some folks take azithro every other day! maybe try that for a few days and see if you get relief!

azithromycin caused a little for me, but mostly it was a bad taste in my mouth...it could have been symptom tho.

Been taking it for about 6 months now, daily. No side effects related to stomach.
Clarithromyacin did leave a taste in my mouth constantly though.

I do get nausea from it, so I always take it at night with my last snack shortly before bed.

i could take it on an empty stomach...but i stopped it a few days ago after two months of use because i felt a drop in my hearing in my left ear...scary pay close attention because it can damage inner ear at high doses...i was at 500 mg twice a day, probly why it hurt me

no one told me about the hearing loss thing and my ears had been bothering me on it. pretty ****ed about that.

I know, my llmd failed to warn me properly too...pretty angry but i've been off it 4 days now and those 4 days were rough but my hearing seems to be OK...my left ear was bad to begin with so i really shouldnt mess with it any more with zith

I had to work up to 1 250mg pill of zith starting with 1/4 pill. Yeah, it suppresses the appetite and I've shrunk my stomach.
The worst symptom for me is the depression. Lots of crying jags. Zith does that to me.
My doc wants me to dose to 500mg. I don't think I can do this.
However, I need to take it. Doxy no longer works for me and Cipro/Levaquin are out of the question.
