what does herxing from babesia feel like? I added Plaquenil into my abx regimen of rifampin, azithromyxin, and diflucan and i was told that this treats babesia. i have been feeling reallyyy tired lately. not sure if this is just a regular lyme herx or if its from babesia.

For me I have extreme fatigue, very tempermental sometimes very angry sometimes severely depressed and want to cry all day and night.
I have bad headaches, horrible insominia, dizziness, stomach pain and nausea, my arms and hands feel numb and my vision seems to be affected.
I am on Artimininisn for Babesia right now but soon to start Malerone. Also on Ceftin, Plaquenil, Zith, and Septra.
Hope this helps I know I had extremely bad herxes when I started all this I couldn't get out of bed for days, had no balance, and throwing up.
So to tell you as you continue your treatment it does get better. I hope this helps you and makes you feel a little better. Take care and get plenty of rest

I have a lot of inflammation. I also have severe fatigue that will come in seconds! Like I have to lay down right away or i will just drop dead. I haven't thrown up. I alter between fatigue and insomnia. Got air hunger bad and stomach issues but not pain or naseau. Slightly off balance and have the numb hand and arms like *needhelp*

These abx sound more like bartonella treatment than babesia. Are you sure it's babs treatment?

My LLMD who is well known in NY has me on plaquenil/malarone/artemisinin for babs so I know plaquenil is a option to treat babs, but what about mepron or malarone or even artemisinin - will your LLMD be putting you on these some time in the near future?
