If your lucky enough, all you get is remission. Do you think the body is strong enough to kill Keets. Diet exercise, supplements, detox... What's the longest remission, doing what, and how long did it take to get there? How long did it last? Anyone think the got rid of this stuff for good? How? What do you think.

I think that maybe some ppl actually have the ability to fight this illness off themselves. They probably never show any symptoms, but get infected and their bodies just fight it off.
I say this because my husband has had many more ticks on him than me. He has been in more endemic areas for ticks than me, yet he has never gotten lyme disease. Surely he had a tick on him at one time or another that was infected. Maybe his body just fought it off before he even got any symptoms.
Its just an idea. Who really knows.
Maybe if you do ALL the right things, eat right, exercise right, get plenty of sleep, take the right vitamins and herbs, then maybe. There is a woman, but I can't remember her name. She claims to have overcome lyme with all these things.
There is probably someone on lymenet too that did it all natural.

I wonder also.
Same here. Husband gets bit no problem.
I get bit, PROBLEM!
Can the body heal itself? Not sure.
I do think some are more susceptible than others.
I think some can get a good remission and keep it there easier than others.
I HOPE that the body can eventually cure itself.
I DO believe that you have to combine traditional with complimentary (my doc, not LLMD but very flexible and willing to learn)medical techniques to establish a cure or long remission.
There has to be an answer out there somewhere.

I think some very well can. I have a friend who was diagnosed 3 years ago. Recently both her girls were also diagnosed w/ Lyme as well. It turned out the whole family was bitten at the same place they went on vacation 6-7 years ago. Once they discovered that it explained why the whole family was sick, except for the father and father in law. Their tests were POSITIVE as the rest of them yet neither show ONE single symptom all these years!! Today they are both still symptoms free.
The wife has it the worse 11 brain lesions! I don't understand how she can be so severely sick and they men are symptoms free. In fact, the father in law was just here visiting my in laws (they are old friends) and he looked a picture of health!

Well speaking for myself, I believe you can heal after years of being very sick. I was perscribed over 60 medications over the years to deal with one issue after another.. I had to keep a log because I had a law suit in progress with my Company's Insurance.
I never took anything long term unless it was absolutely necessary. That was a beta blocker and occasional PPI's. I tried pain meds but knew they were doing more harm than good. I tried many meds but never stuck with them. I think it was for this reason that I never did any permanent damage.
It was a matter of making lifestyle changes, removing the very last amalgam that I had, and supplements that made the difference. Now I don't feel like I'm gonna die anymore. That is where I was before all of this. I just hope and pray that I continue to improve and pass this knowledge along to my daughter.
