this may be an ALS symptom, but lately I've been sleeping wth my mouth open and drooling at night.
Has anyone with lyme had this problem?

Drooling is definitely on the symptom list for parasites and so is teeth/jaw clenching. You might really want to consider treating for parasites. It saved my life,

I drool at night. Never really thought of it as a symptom though. Don't a lot of people do that?

Not always parasites...
I have this symptom and NO parasites (confirmed on stool tests and electrodermal screening and muscle testing and ART).
My Dad also drooled heavily while he slept. It is likely a hereditary issue in my case...

I drooled in my sleep my whole life. I am 47. Within the last few years, I noticed that I don't do that any more.
I've given up milk and gluten and am treating for Lyme. I'm not sure what made me stop, but I'm guessing it is one of those things.

I would not rule out parasites with any of these tests. It is very possible that these tests do not reveal them at certain times, but will other times.

Could also be caused by seasonal allergies, a cold, or sinus infection.

I've also been scoped both directions multiple times, gone completely without food for extended periods of time (months/years), and have none of the "caking" in my intestines claimed in many alternative medicine texts, or any other evidence of parasitic infection from any source what-so-ever. I also intuitively do not believe parasites are an issue for me at this time. My symptoms also do not correspond to parasite die off if I do eat something "anti-parasitic"...I've taken tons of anti-parasite herbs and such without any die-off symptoms or "odd appearing" stuff in the toilet. I do not belong to the camp that believes everyone on the planet has parasite issues... Yes, I recognize they are an important part of many people's health issues, but not everyone's.

have drooled while sleeping as long as I can remember?? never thought anything of it though...simply attributed to being a "mouth sleeper"
