So the other night I spent a bit more time in the hot tub than usual. The next day I felt better than I have for a few years. I repeated my tub time last night. Today I don't feel bad either. What is up with this? Should I keep it up or is it coincidence?

Keep it up. There is research and such about heat killing off the bugs and even dissolving biofilms.
My family is reading up on things and there at a family house is a hot tub and they plan on putting me in it. They said they read you have to submerge and slowly have your temp go up to a certain degree and then let it come down again. But this takes time. Extra time beyond the typical time we sit in a tub.

But there are plans to monitor heart rate and also to put cool towels around the neck maybe too to keep from passing out or getting too hot up above the neck.

But when i go I told them I am all for it. They said they think if I get my temp up to 104 it kills off esp protozoan infections and since I am working on that that is what the research they read was about.

I do not have links or info sorry. But wanted to say that I am planning on trying to do extended times in the hot tub soon and see how it goes.

But you would think you would herx some? Not sure why your not? Maybe your feeling better for another reason and you somehow detoxed instead of killing bugs.. And thats all good too..

I say if you find something that makes you feel better. Do it.

(Reposted): No herx. Just felt better. I didn't over overdo it. The temp was about 100-101. It was raining so I stayed nice and cooled.
